Padilla was recognized with six awards, including Best-in-Show of the Capital Award category, during the 2023 Virginia PR Awards, sponsored by the Richmond Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA Richmond).
Jeff Wilson APR, vice president of Workplace Culture, DEI and Chief of Staff was the 2023 honoree and first Black recipient of PRSA Richmond’s Excellence in PR Award.
For its work with the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council (USHBC), Padilla earned the Best in Show (Capital Awards). The Capital Awards category recognizes unique and exceptional public relations tactics. Padilla employed strategies that helped USHBC grow its newsletter list size and distribution – as well as contributing to the overall program’s goal of driving demand and consumption of blueberries.
