Former Klick Health Senior Vice President of Activation Strategy, Silvia De Carvalho, moves to front AXON’s Clinical Studies practice globally. Silvia brings almost two decades of healthcare marketing expertise, and her wealth of knowledge in digital communication and engagement will be a key asset in leading the Clinical Studies practice through an exciting chapter of accelerated growth and innovation.
Silvia started her career working with the clinical development teams at Sanofi to identify optimal protocols and product viability in the diabetes landscape. That expertise solidified how critically important it is for the clinical development path to be centered on the reality of the patient needs. Therefore, Silvia is excited to be joining the AXON Clinical Studies Practice, where the team is uniquely placed to help clients embrace the digital transformation that the industry is facing and help them drive strategic and operational excellence as well as efficiencies, but most importantly being truly patient centered.
“Silvia is a wonderful addition to the AXON team, not only bringing a strong strategic mind to our client business, but also a high level of ambition for what we can achieve”, said Ralph Sutton, International Managing Partner and President.
Silvia will help shape how AXON will support patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and broader stakeholders navigate the ever-changing healthcare industry. Now more than ever, companies need to have partners that can simplify their experience and help them navigate through the complexities of engaging all the key stakeholders. AXON has a fantastic offering and experience that enables us to partner in a very authentic way. AXON strives to continuously look for how we can better serve patients and enable access to innovative and life-changing medicines.
“Building on a great foundation, I am excited to continue our growth journey alongside our clients. A first key area of focus for us will be an expansion on our digital engagement services and how we can help clients optimally recruit and engage patients and healthcare professionals within digital and decentralized trials, but also effectively embrace adaptive trial design. The second area of focus will be helping clients to reach diverse patient populations to reflect the communities who may benefit from their medicines. I believe our unique way of integrating a cross-cultural approach in our strategic thinking will enable us to be a great partner for companies eager to harness that challenge and therefore represents a growth area for us as well,” said Silvia De Carvalho, Clinical Studies Practice Lead.
