Hanover Communications’ FMCG team won the Trade & B2B Campaign Award at the 2020 PRCA DARE Awards. The prize was awarded on August 17, 2020 by a panel of highly respected PR professionals and industry experts.

The awards, judged by a panel including the founders and CEOs of some of the country’s most prestigious agencies, celebrate the very best in PR and communications.

Hanover’s FMCG team were recognised for their work in helping to launch the new Lucozade Energy Watermelon & Strawberry Cooler to a retail audience.

The campaign found new ways to engage and helped to build retailer advocacy for manufacturer Lucozade Ribena Suntory and its brands.

By partnering with a leading retailer to create memorable and impactful video content, Hanover helped engage key journalists by creating a campaign that leapt out of their crowded inboxes and bought inspirational retailers onboard by talking to them through social media.

“We’re really proud of the campaign we delivered for the launch of Lucozade Energy Watermelon & Strawberry Cooler,” said Ella McIntosh, Head of Trade at Hanover.

“The results, in terms of engagement with the brand at launch and positive sentiment from the key audience of independent convenience retailers, shows that we delivered a great campaign that helped our client get real cut-through. The sales results are truly impressive.

“I’m confident that our team knows FMCG like no other, and we are constantly looking for the best, and most effective, ways to engage people across the channel. It is great to get recognition for the work that we put in.”
