Barbara Wynne joins Hanover as managing director of Brussels office

Hanover Communications, one of EMEA’s leading strategic communications consultancies, today announced the hire of Barbara Wynne as the new Managing Director of its Brussels office, effective from February 1st. This strategic appointment underscores Hanover’s commitment to enhancing its presence and capabilities in the Brussels market.

Wynne brings over 20 years of experience in government relations and public policy within Brussels. Originally from Ireland, she has been instrumental in navigating regulatory landscapes and shaping opportunities for businesses amidst geopolitical developments. Her most recent role was as Head of Digital & Technology at FIPRA Public Affairs, following her time at Accenture where she served as Global Policy Lead for Government Relations.

In her new role at Hanover Communications, Wynne will report directly to Gavin Megaw, President and Managing Partner, and will join the global leadership board. She is tasked with strengthening and expanding Hanover’s offerings in Brussels to ensure impactful results for clients. A key focus will be integrating Hanover’s policy communications, digital, strategy and insight services further into operations.
