AXON is thrilled to announce the appointment of Elisabeth (Liz) Mozel-Jury to Vice President, Strategy and Business Development within the agency’s Clinical Studies practice. Liz was formerly a Director in the Public Relations practice at AXON and brings two decades of healthcare strategy and communications expertise, with a track record of creating impactful programs that accelerate change.
“Liz brings a passion and energy, not to mention creative strategic thinking, to her work that is inspiring and empowering. With her new focus on AXON’s Clinical Studies offering, we will look to innovate and elevate our services in new ways, bringing diverse thinking to how we tackle our client challenges,” said Chuck Johnston, Managing Partner, AXON Clinical Studies.
Liz will remain based in AXON’s London office and joins Chuck Johnston, Shawn Patterson, Senior Vice President and Melissa Lewis, Stream Lead, all based in AXON’s Toronto office, in leading AXON Clinical Studies.” As a trans-Atlantic team, we work with our clients to provoke change in healthcare by elevating each trial communication touchpoint to achieve successful study completion,” according to Chuck.
“Supporting the study experience for participants and their families, as well as study sites, has never been so important, with many studies facing challenges that are impacting completion,” said Liz. “These delays can mean patients are waiting longer for the potentially life-changing – or indeed life-saving – healthcare advancements that result. I’m excited to help our clients to bring their science to life sooner and help improve the lives of patients.”
As a long-standing member of the AXON and AVENIR GLOBAL family, Liz has worked across multiple geographies for the Firm over the past 18 years. First in NATIONAL Public Relations’ Toronto office supporting Canadian clients, then relocating to AXON’s London office in 2012 where she shifted focus to global and regional communications. “Liz’s AVENIR GLOBAL network heritage is a powerful asset, as she has the know-how and connections to optimize cross-functional working. This allows AXON to take a best-team approach – assembling the best multidisciplinary team from our powerhouse of specialist communications firms,” said Chuck.
